What do you do when you arrive at the scene?
You check to see if the scene is safe
Check the person by tapping/shouting “ARe you Ok?”
If the person is unresponsive, call or send someone to call 911, and get the AED and first aid kit
Check for breathing for at least 5 seconds but no more than 10 seconds
If the person is breathing normally, check for obvious signs of injury and medical jewelry

Types of equipment are face/eye protection, gloves, protetive clothing, and resuscitation devices. You protect yourself from blood borne pathogens by treating all blood as dangerous blood, wear your gear, watch out for needles, wash your hands, and clean up safely.

It is a safe, stable side-laying pose for an unconscious person who is breathing normally.
Steps:
extend their arm out at a right angle to their body
cross the other arm
bend the knee
roll them over on their side
adjust their head
then check their breathing
