What is a census

A count of the population - lists where people lived, what jobs they did, how many ppl lived in one home etc of homeless

What were local court records

Kept a record of all cases that happened - suspect crime and name recorded and detail of evidence of crime from police

• names suspect, crime committed, name and where lived and sentence and evidence from witnesses and police officers

Old bailey records

• access trial info including: names of accused and victims, police evidence. Hears MOST SERIOUS CASES
