Revolve
Revolves a sketch profile or planar face around a selected axis.
Select a profile or planar face and an axis to revolve around, then specify the extend type, direction, & operation.
Sweep
Sweeps a sketch profile, planar face, or a solid body along a selected path.
Select a sweep type, an object, & a path to sweep along, then specify the operation. Optionally select rails or a center line to guide the sweep.
Loft
Creates a transitional shape between 2 or more sketch profiles or planar faces.
Select a series of profiles or planar faces to define a shape. Optionally select rails or a center line to guide the shape.
Edit form
Manipulates faces, edges, & vertices with transform, scale, & rotate editing.
Select faces, edges, or vertices to enable the manipulator. Double click a face or edge to select a loop.
Press Pull
Modifies the selected geometry using offset, extrude, or fillet commands. The operation depends on the geometry selected.
Fillet
Rounds the edges of a solid body by adding material to interior edges and removing material from exterior edges.
Select edges, faces, or features, then specify a radius. Use the Rule Fillet type to add fillets based on specific rules. Use the full round fillet type to round the edges over 3 adjacent faces.
Chamfer
Bevels the edges of a solid or surface body by removing material from exterior edges or adding material to interior edges.
Select edges, faces, or features, then specify one distance, two distances, or a distance and an angle.
Shell
Offset the walls of a solid body to create a hollow cavity with walls of a specified thickness.
Select a body to shell or faces to remove to create an opening, them specify a type, direction, and wall thickness.
Split face
Divides faces using a selected profile, face, or plane as the cutting tool.
Select the faces to modify then select the profile, face, or plane that divides the source face.
Split body
Create new bodies by dividing selected bodies using a profile, face, or plane.
Select the bodies to modify then select the profile, face, or plane that divides the bodies.
Move/Copy
Moves the selected face, body, sketch, or construction geometry a specified distance or angle.
Select the objects to modify then specify the distance or angle. Use set pivot to reposition the manipulator.
Align
Moves an object (component, body, sketch, work geometry) by aligning geometry selected from the object with geometry selected elsewhere. Geometry can be a point, line,. plane, circle, or coordinate system. Snaps are treated as full coordinate systems for full position & orientation alignment.
Select the point on the object to move then select the point on the face to align to. Click flip & Angle to rotate the object.
Delete
Permanently deletes selected objects, & everything related to them, from the design. Does not create a feature in the timeline. Deleted objects cannot be restored parametrically.
Select components, bodies, sketches, and construction objects to delete. Use the Remove command to preserve parametric history.
Remove
Deletes selected components or bodies from the design & preserves the operation as a feature in the timeline.
Removed objects can be restored parametrically.
Select components or bodies to remove. To permanently delete parametric history associated with an object, use the delete command instead.
Offset plane
Creates a construction plane that is offset from the selected face or plane.
Select a face, plane, or sketch profile, then specify the offset distance.
Measure
Measures the distance, angle, area, or position of selected objects.
Select an object to measure it, and optionally selected a second object to measure it and the distance between them.
Interference
Reports the interference between selected solid bodies or components.
Select the components then click compute. Choose to create components from the interferences.
Zebra Analysis
Displays alternating black & white stripes on a body to help you analyze the curvature of a surface. Select bodies to analyze, then adjust the direction, repeats, and opacity of the zebra stripes.
Section Analysis
Creates a view that cuts through all visible objects in a design to reveal interior details & obscured features.
Select a planar object to define the cut plane, then adjust the distance and angles to position it in the design. In the Browser, the Section Analysis displays in the Analysis folder, where you can adjust its visibility, edit it, or delete it.
Horizontal/Vertical
Constrains a single line, or 2 points, to lie on either the vertical or horizontal axis, whichever is closer to the current alignment.
Coincident
Constrains the position of 2 points or a point and a line or curve together.
This could be a point constrained along a line, 2 points constrained to each other, or a point constrained along a curve.
Tangent
Constrains a curve & another object so that they touch at a single point but never cross each other.
Equal
Constrains similar objects so that their sizes are identical. When the size of one object changes, the others adjust, too.
Circular pattern
Duplicates selected sketch curves in an arc or circular pattern.
Select the curves to pattern, the point to revolve around, and the quantity.
Rectangular pattern
Duplicate sketch curves in rows & columns.
Select the curves to pattern then specify the direction, quantity, & distance.
