genetic variation among people. It represents a difference in a single DNA building block (a nucleotide) in a person's genome. [1]
Retrovirus
A type of virus that stores its genetic information using RNA instead of DNA
AdenoVirus
Tough viruses that can affect several different systems in the body
Adeno-Associated Virus
A small, simple virus that infects humans and other primates but does not cause disease.
Herpes simplex virus
A contagious viral infection that causes recurring, painful blisters or sores on the skin or mucous membranes
Lioposome
A microscopic, spherical vesicles made of the same lipid bilayers that form our cell membranes
Naked DNA
Genetic material (usually circular plasmid DNA) that is not encased in a viral shell, lipid membrane, or protective protein coat
