Qualitative Analysis
An analysis that focuses on identifying the components or characteristics of a substance.
Quantitative Analysis

Homogenous Sample
A sample that has a uniform composition throughout.
Heterogeneous Sample
A sample consisting of various components that are not uniformly distributed.
Calibration Curve

Masking
