Max 3 tablets, 5 min apart. Call 911 if no relief after 1st tablet.

Isotretinoin (iPLEDGE) (administration instructions)

2 negative pregnancy tests; 2 forms of birth control; monthly dispense only

Levothyroxine (Synthroid) (administration instructions)

Take on empty stomach, 30-60 min before breakfast. No calcium/antacids within 4 hrs.

Warfarin (administration instructions)

Same time every day; consistent vitamin K intake; avoid alcohol

Isotretinoin (Accutane) (administration instructions)

iPLEDGE program — 2 negative pregnancy tests required, monthly monitoring

Alendronate (Fosamax) (administration instructions)

Take with full glass of water, stay upright 30+ min, no food for 30 min (prevents esophageal erosion)

Metformin (administration instructions)

Take with food to reduce GI side

tetracycline/fluroquinolones (administration instructions)

Avoid dairy, antacids, iron — take 2 hrs before or 6 hrs after
