What is the legal tradition/code that was established in mesopotamian civilizations during the mid Babylon century?

it is a text written that answers questions about legalities, religion, economy, etc but in a future tense. the main scene shows the king receiving a rank/honour from Shamsh, god of justice. it is very important due to how it dealt with judiciary power during Mesopotamian times.
