Mediate smooth muscle contraction and increase capillary permeability.
Responsible for symptoms of allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, conjunctivitis, urticaria, bronchoconstriction, asthma, anaphylaxis

Located in gastric mucosa. Mediate acid production by gastric parietal cells
