Algorithm
A set of rules or procedures to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations, especially by a computer.
Investor
A person or organization that puts money into financial plans, property, etc. with the expectation of achieving a profit.
Engagement
How much someone is involved or interested in something, like a game, a class, or a conversation. It shows how much they care or are paying attention.
Manipulation
The skillful handling, controlling, or influencing of someone or something in a clever or dishonest way.
Surveillance
The monitoring of behavior, activities, or information for the purpose of gathering intelligence or maintaining control.
Surveillance Technology
Refers to the use of technology to monitor and observe individuals or groups for various purposes such as security or control.
Ethical

Content, especially online, designed to attract attention and encourage users to click on a link, often by using outrageous headlines or images.
Digital footprint
The trail of data left behind by a person’s online activity, including social media posts, website visits, and online purchases.
Behavioral modification
The process of altering or influencing behavior through various techniques, often employed in marketing or psychological manipulation.
Deepfake
A realistic-looking but fabricated image, video, or audio recording created or altered using advanced artificial intelligence technology.
Digital literacy
The ability to evaluate and critically analyze information and communication technologies, including the internet and social media platforms.
Digital citizenship
