Ground - air visual signal code for use by survivors.If you find yourself on the ground somewhere, perhaps after a precautionary or forced landing, and need to communicate visually with aircraft overhead, there are prearranged signals for such a purpose. These can be found in the NZAIP Volume 4, in the GEN section at 3.6. This is available free online here: https://www.aip.net.nz/(opens in a new tab)
