What is essential hypertension?
high blood pressure with no underlying cause
What is secondary hypertension
high blood pressure caused by another medical condition
What is angina pectoris?
Chest pain brought on by exertion
What is systolic pressure?
pressure in the arteries when the heart contracts
What is diastolic pressure?
The pressure in the arteries when the heart relaxes and fills with blood

Refers to problems with muscle tissue of the heart
