friar gives Juliet a potion that will make her seem dead for 42 hours, in order to avoid marrying Paris. juliet tells her father she wants to get married tomorrow on Wednesday. at night, Juliet is hesitating about the potion, but eventually drinks it. the Capulet house is happy and prepping for the wedding while she sleeps. nurse finds Juliet dead, and the capulets are now prepping for a funeral

balthasar tells Romeo that Juliet is dead, so Romeo buys a poison from apothecary to kill himself and leaves Mantua to go to juliet’s tomb. friar John was unable to send a letter from friar Lawrence to Romeo because people thought friar John was sick. paris mourns at Juliet grave when Romeo arrives, and Paris is killed by Romeo. romeo drinks the poison and dies next to Juliet. friar Lawrence come and Juliet wakes to find Paris and Romeo dead and sees friar Lawrence. juliet kills herself with dagger. friar lawrence confenses everything to the Capulet, Montague's, and the prince. prince says everybody is punished, and the feud ends. the Montague agrees to make a gold statue of Juliet, and Capulet will allow Romeo to lay next to Juliet in the tomb.
