Animals without a backbone.
Arthropoda (Arthropods)
A group of animals that all have a hard outer skeleton and jointed legs.
Insects
Animals that have 3 segments to their bodies and 6 legs.
Grundaries
Animals that have 2 segments to their bodies and 8 legs.
Myriapods
Animals with long segmented bodies and 1 or 2 pairs of legs on each segment.
Echinoderms
Animals characterized by having spiny skin.
Molluscs
Animals with muscular bodies and no giny she shells.
Cnidaria
Organisms such as jellyfish, corals, and sea anemones that have no legs and stinging tentacles around their mouths.
Worms
Animals with no legs and long bodies, including tapeworms and earthworms.
