This is payed by anyone who is 18 and older. When you turn 65, you will recurve a pension from the feds.

Things that lower your taxable income include money spent on tuition and medical expenses.
Tax credits
Reduces amount of taxes paid, including child tax credit, charitable donations, and RRSP contributions.
Job Benefits
Job benefits are split between you and your employer. Dental, extended health, Life disability, and pension.
