What were some US gains at the Yalta conference?
Stalin and Churchill agreed to make a United Nations. Also the soviets pledged to declare war on japan three months after defeating germany. ← America was expecting a bad invasion from Japan (operation downfall)

Germany was divided into 4 zones. New post war boarders for Poland and Germany.
What was decided at the Potsdam conference?
Germany would be divided into 4 zones with the US, Great Britain, France, and the Soviet union all administering one.
What happened after the Potsdam conference that created tension between the US and USSR?
After the bombing of Hiroshima, the US no longer needed soviet aid, but they came anyways to collect the land they wanted. BUT the US wanted to have them be independent while the USSR wanted to bring their form of government to them.
