Types of transcripts…

playscript/orthographic- focus on content and meaning, readable, uninitiated, spelling and punctuation (orthographic), limited paralinguistics and extra lingustic features, verbatim (word for word), each speaker identified

Jeffersonians- active language, used by conversation analysts and discursive psychologists, hard to read at first, non-orthographic representation, paralinguistics and extra linguistic detail and features annotated

Personal data

pseudonym- help protect identity by replacing identifyable data

audio- delete names, personal info, change voice pitches

video- blur faces, filters
