Instructors
Individuals who influence student thinking but will not tell them what, how, or when to study, and rarely monitor progress.
Academic advisors
Individuals who help students map out their course of study, consider majors, and understand prerequisites and co-requisites for graduation.
Staff Members/Administrators/Advisers
Individuals who make significant policy decisions, determine financial allocations and priorities, and help govern the institution.

A proscribed set of courses leading to certain majors and degrees designed to save time, money, and energy.
E-Mail with Style
A practice involving using a college email address, making the subject line informative, and addressing instructors with respect.
High-impact practice
An academic engagement activity that students are encouraged to participate in at least once each year.
