Matter

Everything in this universe that is made up of material, occupies space, and has mass.

Panch Tatva

The five basic elements classified by early Indian philosophers: air, earth, fire, sky, and water.

Non matter

Entities that do not occupy space or have mass, such as cold, hot, anger, love, song, and lecture.

Physical Nature of Matter

The concept that matter is made up of particles rather than being continuous like a block of wood.

Particulate

A school of thought believing that matter is made up of particles, similar to the composition of sand.
