Macro Wedge and dense. Micro: Hepatocytes (granular cytoplasm) and binucleated. Portal triad lined by cuboidal. Liver

Macro: Wedge and delicate appearance. Micro: Alveolar spaces and bronchioles with cilliated cartilage. Pulmonary macrophages may also be present. Lung

Lymph node. Macro: dark staining. Micro: Lymphoid cells, follicles.

Oesophagus. Macro: tubular Micro: Stratified squamous epithelium non-keratinised and glands underlying muscle.

Ovary. Organ with spaces. Micro: Round spaces are follicles with no epithelial lining. cellular space.

Pancreas: Macro Wedge with lots of purple. Micro: Lots of glands and prescence of langerhan islets + ducts

Prostate. Macro: wedge. Micro: Branching glands with columnar epithelium and pink stroma with muscles.

Salivery gland. Fibrous capsules. Glandular acini with some clear cells. Serous glands and connective tissue.

Macro: Tissue piece with thick mucosa. Micro: Keratinised and hair follicles present with sebacious glands. Skin

Wedge shape. Has an outer capsule with distinct white and red pulp areas. Follicles.Spleen

A piece of tissue. Stomach. Thick muscularis and gastric pits + glands. Parietal cells in glands and chief cells.

Testes Round organ, packed tubules lined by sperm precursors towards lumen.

Tongue. Wedge/ Non keratinising. Bands of muscle in different directions.

Trachea. C shapes tube. Cartilage and pseudostratified columnar epithelial.

What is this and how do we know?
Thyroid. Lobe. Various follicles with cuboidal epithelium. Fiiled with colloid.
