Catholic

Along with One, Holy, and Apostolic, Catholic is one of the four Marks of the Church. Catholic means “universal.” The Church is Catholic in two senses. She is Catholic because Christ is present in her and has given her the fullness of the means of salvation and also because she reaches throughout the world to all people

Evangelization

The proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through word and witness

New Evangelization

A renewed effort, called forth by Pope Saint John Paul II, to bring the Gospel of Christ to individual believers, especially to those who, though baptized, have never fully heard or accepted the Christian message

Inculturation

The process whereby the Gospel becomes incarnate or cultivated within a particular culture. Each culture influences the way the Gospel is understood and practiced

Katholikos =

universal = all

Church Catholic in two Senses
