Social Psychology
The study of individuals in their social context.

The extent to which a study establishes a trustworthy cause-and-effect relationship between a treatment and an outcome.
External Validity
The extent to which the results of a study can be generalized to other situations and to other people.
Informed Consent
The process of researchers informing potential participants about the risks and benefits involved in a research study.
Deception (in research)
Withholding information or misleading participants about the true purpose or procedures of a study.
Debriefing
The process of explaining the true nature and purpose of a study to participants after their involvement.
