Alternative uses test
Coming up with multiple ways t use an item creatively
Differences Consequences Test
Divergent thinking test used to measure and imagine the outcomes of unusual scenarios
Remot associate test
A test used to measure creative convergent thinkung
Fluency
The number of alternative uses you can think of
Organlity
How unusual those ideas are
Flexability

Framework for design diamond
First Step the discover stage: The first diamond The first diamond helps people understand, rather than simply assume, what the problem is.
Framework for design diamond
Define Stage Convergent: Coming to a single definition of the problem or challenge
Frameowkr for Design Diamond
Develop Stage Divergent: Mind maps Attribute Listing Brainstorming
Framework for design diamond
Deliver Stage Convergent: Choosing the best, feasible option Going back to the problem and deciding which solution will cause the greatest impact.
Divergent Thinking
Creative unique solutions example : brainstorming to fix things
Convergent Thinking
analyzes possibilities to a single best logical solution : Standardized testing
Brainstorming Techniques
Mind Mapping and Attribute Listing
What does Mind Mapping do
Mind maps are visual brainstorming tools that help you quickly organize thoughts, spark creativity, and communicate clearly. They make starting easy, help you connect related ideas, and visually map out your thought process for better problem-solving.
What is Attribute Listing
Attribute Listing is a creative technique which involves breaking the problem into smaller and smaller parts and looking at alternative solutions to these parts.
How to use SCAMPER

Hokanson main theories chapter 3
Hokanson chapter three theories are creativity is a normal human activity using basic cognitive skills. It highlights that mental and emotional barriers must be removed to allow innate creativity to emerge.
Incubation and “Depth mind” Theory : Focuses on the theory that structured thought requires a period of "relaxed attention". Leaving a problem temporarily allows the subconscious mind to form remote associations.
Hokanson Chapter four Process Innovation, and problem solving
Main Concepts : The difference between Divergent thinking and Convergent Creative thinking expands possibilities, while critical thinking acts as the rational filter to assess context and constraints.
Revised Bloom Taxonomy: A foundational learning theory placing Creating (Invention) at the absolute peak of human cognitive skills, building directly on top of analyzing and evaluating
Adjacent Possible
The set set of potential innovations, ideas, or states exactly one step away from the current reality this concept illustrates that innovation is a recombination of existing, accessible "spare parts" rather than creation from nothing, with possibilities expanding as new doors are opened.
