why is it difficult for young people to believe in God?

  • It’s difficult to believe in something they haven’t seen

  • Science diproves biblical ideas of miracles

  • Some find religious texts hard to accept

  • Many religions believe their God is the only God-they can’t all be right

  • It’s difficult to believe there are so much suffering in the world if God exists

Believing in God often means loving life following certain values or principles-many find this hard to do

The belief the God is beyond and not limited by the world that he created

What does omnipotent mean?

This is the belief that God is all powerful. There is nothing that is beyond God or impossible for him today

Power seen in the Bible in the creation account when he makes the world and when he sends the plagues and parts the red Sea through Moses. In Jeremiah god says “is anything too hard for me?” God is omnipotent in salvation as in Jesus’s resurrection he rose him from the dead

What does omniscient mean?

This is the belief that God is all knowing. if we trust him, he will know what is right for us.

He knows everything about and each and every person he has created and if we do something god knows if our intentions were pure or not. In hebrews Paul informs us that god is omniscient. Christians believe god has a plan for everyone even before they were born.

This is the belief that God is everywhere. when believers pray they know God hears them wherever they might be
