What would you like us to know
: I’m a dedicated varsity athlete who’s learned discipline, teamwork, and time management through sports. I’m also passionate about animals, which has inspired my goal of becoming a veterinarian. I really enjoy being around animals and caring for them, I also volunteer at my grandma‘s temple, and I help around to clean and to make food and set up
Describe a time where you worked as a part of a team to solve a problem, and what role did you play?-
in in cheer there’s a lot of problem-solving and there’s a thing that we do called stunting and it’s when I work closely with three other girls and we all have a lot of different ideas and different opinions on what we should do and how we should go about it and the role-play is the mediator and I make sure that when people share their ideas and opinions, everyone feel seen and heard and understood and I make sure that everyone’s opinions and thoughts get put into whatever we decide on officially
How would you respond if a customer wasn’t happy with their order-
I would apologize and tell them I’m sorry how they aren’t happy with their order then I would ask them what was wrong specifically and if there’s anything i can do to fix it
What does a welcoming area mean to u, and how would you create one?-
what a welcoming area means to me is an area where you feel safe and understood and a place where you can be yourself. How I would create a welcoming area is by treating customers with kindness and respect and making sure they enjoy their time at the café
I guess is ignoring lounge rules, despite multiple reminders What would you do?
-I would let them know one more time and set a simple straightforward boundary and if I seen them and it happens once again then I will bring up the problem to a higher staff or manager
Have you ever had conflict with a coworker? How did you handle it? What role did you play? And what did you learn?
-in cheer sometimes I have conflict with my other teammates when we share our ideas routines, and with timing which would cause a lot of problems and frustration between not only me, but my other teammates as well and I would take on the role to make sure everyone is understood and heard and to keep us all focused in together and still keep us as a team and I would make sure that everyone speaks about their opinions and everyone hears each other‘s opinions out and continues to support each other‘s ideas and I would help redirect our focus. From this I learned that communication and teamwork is very important, especially in a sport like cheer, where everyone depends on each other and I learned that staying positive and being willing to listen to each other will help the team resolved complex faster and will make our bond and worth ethic stronger
What are you gain from working here?-
Well, I’ve always wanted to be a veterinarian, and I am working towards becoming one in the future and I think this job can really help me open up my skills to working with animals, I think it can also help me gain stronger, social skills, stronger, time, management organization, worth ethic, and it can help me gain stronger skills overall
