particles or toxins into the environment.
Energy efficient

transport and use since it is generally coming from
local regions.
BAMBOO
It is one of the fastest growing plants in the
world with the following local descriptions:
• Average reported growth: 3 to 10 cm per day
• Maximum growth in a day: 100 cm
• Main use about biodiversity:
- Absorb excess water and binds soil together
(i.e. reducing erosion).
- Could release more oxygen than trees.
- Stabilize riverbanks.
- Regulate water sheds.
- Recycle water nutrients.
- Cuts soil losses and decrease water
discharge and sediment yield.
