- Promotes class switch to all isotopes (like IgG, esp. IgG1) => “master regulator”

Anti-inflammatory; promotes mucosal immmunity
Promote healing & tissue differentiation
Suppress other immune responses
Induce Ig class switch: Treg → TGF-β → IgA
