Plant cell
A type of eukaryotic cell that contains a true nucleus and specialized structures that allow plants to perform functions like photosynthesis and support.
Cell membrane
Regulates the transport of materials entering and exiting the cell.
Cell wall
Provides support and protection, and maintains shape.
Mitochondrion
Provides ATP (energy) and produces energy for a cell to carry out its functioning.
Cytoplasm
Contains the organelles and holds them in place.
Vacuole
Stores food, water, waste products and helps maintain cell pressure and protect the cell from waste build up.
