Rash
An area of reddening or industrial skin irritation (sarpullido).
Hoodie
A sweatshirt with a hood.

To suit
To look good on someone or be appropriate for them (e.g., 'That color really suits you').

The act of leaving a hotel after paying the bill.
Boarding gate
The area in an airport where passengers gather to board their flight.
Baggage claim
The area in an airport where arriving passengers collect their luggage.
Freelancer
A person who works independently rather than being employed by a specific company.
Intern
A student or trainee who works, sometimes without pay, to gain work experience (becario/a).

To raise someone to a higher position or rank.
To run out of
To finish a supply of something (e.g., 'We ran out of milk').

To feel excited about something that is going to happen.
To put off
To postpone or delay an event or task.
To get along with
To have a friendly relationship with someone.

To suggest or think of an idea or plan.
Stubborn
Refusing to change one's mind or course of action; headstrong (terco).
Open-minded
Willing to consider new ideas; unprejudiced.
Easy-going
Relaxed and tolerant in attitude or manner.
Sustainable
Able to be maintained at a certain rate or level; eco-friendly.
Global warming
A gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere.
Renewable energy
Energy from a source that is not depleted when used, such as wind or solar power.
Breakthrough
A sudden, dramatic, and important discovery or development.
Algorithm
A process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or problem-solving operations.
Thesis statement
A short statement that summarizes the main point or claim of an essay or research paper.
Peer-reviewed
Evaluation of scientific, academic, or professional work by others working in the same field.
To bridge the gap
To reduce the differences between two groups or situations.
To cut to the chase
To get directly to the point or the most important part of a matter.
To weather the storm
To successfully deal with a very difficult problem.
Ambivalent
Having mixed feelings or contradictory ideas about something or someone.
Overwhelmed
To have a strong emotional effect from being given too much of something (e.g., work).

To give the true version of events that have been reported incorrectly.

A feature that renders something less acceptable; a disadvantage or problem.
