What is distance?
Distance is how far an object moves in a given time
What is displacement?
The difference between a starting position and finishing position of an objects motion (magnitude and direction)
What is speed?
Change in distance over time
What is velocity?
Change in displacement over time
Conversion of m/s to km/h

What is acceleration?
Rate of change of velocity (change in velocity over time)
What is net force?
Vector sum of all forces acting on an object
What does Newton’s First Law (law of inertia) state?
“An object at rest stays at rest, an object in motion remains in motion at a constant speed in a straight line or unless acted upon by an unbalanced force”
What is inertia?
The tendency of an object to resist changes in motion while either at rest or in constant motion
What is Newton’s Second Law?
"The alteration of motion is ever proportional to the motive force impressed; and is made in the direction of the right line in which that force is impressed."
What is Newton’s Third Law?
“For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction”
