The unfair treatment of people based off of their backround

A dictatorship in which the nation is prioritized over individual people and their freedoms

The mass killing of a group of people

Gestapo

Nazi secret police

Ghetto

The towns that were sectioned off for the enemies of the nazis

Holocaust

The event where the nazis killed 11 million people

Kristallnacht

The night of broken glass where the nazis went on a rampage and destroyed jewish owned shops and homes

Lebensraum

The living space the nazis believed that the German people needed more territory in which to live comfortably

Nazi

The group that took control, of germany and started WWII

Pogrom

Organized acts of violence against jewish communities

Prejudice

The bias against a certain group of people

Ration

The amount of food someone is allowed per day

Scapegoat

A person blamed for something that they are not responsible for

Segregation

When two different groups of people are split up

SS- Schutzstaffel

The Nazis that ran concentration camps and executed the rounding up of enemies of the nazis.

Stereotype

The assumption that because one part of a group is one way that the rests of that group is the same
