Risk analysis
A process that helps Customs identify high-risk persons, goods, and transactions while allowing legitimate travel and trade to move efficiently through ports of entry.
Risk profiling
The process of identifying characteristics commonly associated with non-compliance and enforcement violations.
Passenger risk analysis
An examination of travel history, behavior, declarations, and intelligence to identify potentially high-risk travellers.
Intelligence-led enforcement
A strategy that allows Customs to act proactively instead of reactively.
Risk Management Unit
The unit responsible for analyzing, intercepting, and responding to threats affecting Customs operations.
Frequently smuggled risks
Items such as illegal drugs, firearms and ammunition, cigarettes and tobacco products, cash, and prescription medication.
Backscanner technology
The type of technology used by the Scanner Unit to enhance security and efficiency.
Private aircraft
An aircraft operated recreationally or for no exchange of money that is not regularly scheduled.
Commercial aircraft
An aircraft operated for compensation/remuneration that is regularly scheduled.
Restricted goods
Items such as commercial items without a business license, firecrackers, and firearms.
Prohibited goods
Items including pornographers, counterfeit money, food unfit for human consumption, underwater gun, and spiritual items other than for Christianity.

The customs form used for clearing regular scheduled flights.
C7A
The customs form used for clearing pleasure aircrafts.
Section 75 of the Customs Management Act
The legal provision stating the person in charge of a vessel or aircraft must ensure it arrives at a Customs Port of Entry.
Inward report of vessel
The name of the customs form issued to necessary authorities when entering a vessel into the customs territory.
Certificate of Clearance
The customs document issued along with a C28 and a C37 when a vessel is clearing outbound to a foreign destination.
Harbour Office Marina Sites
Locations including Nassau Harbor Club Marina, Nassau Yatcht Haven Marina, Atlantis Marina, Hurricane Hole Marina, Palm Cay Marina, Bay Street Marina, Bayshore Marina, and Legenday Marina.
Required Examination Documents
Documents that must be presented to the examination officer, including a copy of the bill of lading, copy of the road tax, and invoices.
Agriculture permit
A document from the Department of Agriculture required to be uploaded if an importer is bringing fruits and vegetables into the country.
Attendance Request (C1) and Direct Delivery
The two customs forms an importer must apply for to have a container removed from the port to their desired location.
Rotation number
The important number generated from the submission of an I.A.R (Arrival Report).
CDR (Cargo Discharge Report)
A report done once all cargo has been off loaded for a particular port, where short shipments are recorded along with the date and time of completion.
Manifest Module Cargo Options
The four types of cargo categorized as Containerized, non-containerized, Bulk, and Vehicle/Heavy Equipment, boat, or boat trailer.
Manifest Change Requests
The three ways to request changes to a submitted manifest in Click2CLear: Request Amendment, Request Cancellation, and Add Bill of Laden.
Manifest Processing Fee
A fee charged for changes to a submitted manifest equaling 25% of the value of the shipment.
MSTRNO
The prefix used for an approved master sea manifest in Click2Clear.
I.A.R (Arrival Report Module)
A module used as a scheduling option for Arawak Cay Port Development that generates the rotation number to create a manifest.
