Formula Method (Dosage)
A=HD×V, where A is the Amount required, D is the Desired dosage, H is the available Dosage, and V is the Volume available.
Metrol Rule (Rounding)
Leading zeros must be placed before a decimal point (0.2mg not .2mg) and no trailing zeros (1mg not 1.0mg) to prevent medication errors.
