Newton's First Law

an object will remain at rest or move at constant speed in a straight line unless acted on by a resultant force

Newton's Second Law

the resultant force on an object equals its mass times its acceleration

Newton's Third Law

when two objects interact they exert equal and opposite forces on each other

Hooke's Law

extension is directly proportional to the force applied provided the limit of proportionality is not exceeded

Snell's Law

refractive index equals sin i divided by sin r

Ohm's Law

current is directly proportional to voltage at constant temperature

Boyle's Law

pressure is inversely proportional to volume for a fixed mass of gas at constant temperature
