Cleaning

EPA-registered disinfectant
Approved solutions, wipes, or sprays that must be bactericidal, virucidal, and fungicidal, and labeled as effective against HBV and HIV.

Items such as neck strips and disposable razor blades that cannot be disinfected and must be discarded after each use.

Safety precautions such as wearing gloves while mixing disinfectants and maintaining good posture to minimize fatigue and the spread of infection.

Safety measures including checking the scalp for diseases, protecting skin with a cape, and avoiding nicking moles or skin tags during a service.

Safety precautions to ensure a healthy environment, such as positioning cords to avoid falls and sweeping hair clippings at the end of the service.
