doesn’t allow SCOTUS to hear lawsuits against US from citizens from foreign states/countries

requires separate votes for President and Vice President, rather than the old system where voters have two Presidential votes(runnerup became Vice President); (1800 election - tie between Burr and Jefferson - House of Reps vote - was very chaotic - 12th amendment to help avoid this happening again)

grants citizenship to all those born or naturalized in the US; Equal Protection Clause; guarantees due process

prohibits state and federal govs from denying the right to vote based on race, skin color, or previous servitude

fully establishes rules for presidential succession and disability

lowered voting age from 21 to 18 in all federal, state, and local elections

prohibited congressional pay increase/decrease taking effect until after the next House of Reps election
