What is arthrodesis?
Surgical connection of adjacent bones so the bones can grow together into one.
What is an angioplasty?
An operation to repair a damaged blood vessel or unblock a coronary artery.
Define amputation.
A surgical removal of all or part of a limb.
What does cauterization mean?
The act of coagulating blood and destroying tissue

What is cryosurgery used for?
The use of extreme cold to destroy unwanted tissue, such as warts or skin cancers.

Removal of the uterus.
