Repetition of a noun or adjective in another form or of a verb in different tenses
ex.~ De “San Manuel Bueno, mártir”:
“. . .creo que don Manuel Bueno, que mi San Manuel y que mi hermano Lázaro se murieron creyendo no creer lo que más nos interesa, pero sin creer creerlo, creyéndolo en una desolación activa y resignada.”
polisíndeton (polysyndeton)
A figure of speech that consists of repeating the conjunctives (and, yes, but, more) without the syntax demanding it

ex.~ In “Lazarillo de Tormes” Laz did not understand the meaning of a comment of the blind man about the horns. This foreshadows the end of Laz’s narrative regarding his wife’s reputation

prolepsis (flashforward) ver analepsis
It refers to a leap forward in the narrative, by which elements of the plot are ahead of the viewer, so that before arrives at the culmination of the story one already knows or at least guesses what the end

A form of literary expression, not subject to measure or cadence like poetry
