Soil
The upper layer of earth in which plants grow, a black or dark brown material typically consisting of a mixture of organic substances, clay, and rock particles.
Cross Pollination
The transfer of pollen from the male anther of one flower to the female stigma of another flower.
Nitrate
A salt or ester of nitric acid containing the anion NO3−, important for plant nutrition.
Phosphate
A chemical derivative of phosphoric acid containing the anion PO4, crucial for plant growth and energy transfer.
Potash
Potassium carbonate, used in fertilizers to promote plant growth.
Greenhouse
