Protestant Reformation
Corruption of the Catholic Church and people begin protesting, Martin Luther led this, called the Protestant Reformation.
He advocated for direct relationships with God by reading the bible, no need for a priest or intermediaries. he also translated the bible to German so people didn't have to only hear it in latin.
The Protestant sect of Christianity began.
