Tell me about yourself

I worked in a school district in Oregon for over a year as a kitchen helper. Most of my time there was spent working at an elementary school where I got to have plenty of interaction with students in the lunchroom. Being able to get to know the students and help them with whatever they needed made me realize that I really enjoy working with kids and would love a role where I can better support them in the classroom.

What would you do if you had an issue with one of the teachers?

Disagreements are bound to happen because everyone has their own unique perspective on things. But it’s important to resolve them respectfully. So my strategy would be to have a one-on-one conversation with the teacher in order to understand their point of view and then I would share my perspective, with the goal being to come to an agreement so we can get back on the same page and support the students together as a team.
