LOC.

3
New cards

When a patient is having a medication titrated, must they have a IV pump?

YES

4
New cards

What is the most common frequency at which IV flow rates are changed in titration?

Hourly

6
New cards

Can IV rates be decreased during titration?

HYPERtension

18
New cards

What do you monitor to titrate Labetalol?

Heart rate (watch for bradycardia) and BP

19
New cards

To induce anesthesia and treatment of severe seizure.

20
New cards

What do you monitor to titrate Midazolam?

The LOC

Used for sedation.

22
New cards

What do you monitor to titrate Propofol?

The BP and LOC.

23
New cards

What do you have to monitor for adverse effects of Propofol (Diprivan)
