What happens in Act 1?
-Romeo is heartbroken so he goes to a party and meets Juliet
-They fall in love
-Juliet is a Capulet and Romeo is a Montague(enemies)
What happens in Act 2?
- Romeo sneaks into Juliet’s backyard and tells her that he wants to marry her
-Romeo goes to Friar Lawrence and tells him that he wants to marry Juliet. Lawrence agrees in hopes that it will end the family feud.
-Romeo and Juliet get married in secret
What happens in Act 3?
-Mercutio is killed by Tybalt
-Romeo kills Tybalt and Romeo gets banished
-Lord Capulet gives Paris permission to marry Juliet
What happens in Act 4?
-Friar Lawrence comes up with a plan to fake Juliet’s death so she doesn’t marry Paris, and runs away with Romeo
What Happens in Act 5?
-A missed letter makes Romeo believe Juliet is dead, so he travels back with poison
-Romeo kills Paris and takes his own life
-Juliet wakes up and then finds both of them dead then she stabs herself
