Symbiosis
Close ecological interactions between different organisms.
Parasitism
A type of symbiotic relationship where one organism benefits and the other is harmed.
Mutualism
A type of symbiotic relationship where both organisms benefit.
Commensalism
A type of symbiotic relationship where one organism benefits while the other is neither harmed nor affected.
Predation
A type of relationship where one organism benefits as the predator and the other is hunted as prey.
Competition
A condition occurring when two or more organisms compete for the same resources within an ecological community.
