Where can true freedom only be found?
Ability to choose and moral law; have to some foundation to choose using what has been revealed by God

We are not robots and have free will. He wants us to come to Him on our own, but in the end it is our choice.
What does venial sin do?
Damages sin and distorts sin and our relationship with God

Severely damages/breaks our relationship with God and the charity we have in our heart

What can venial sins do?
Can build up to cause us to commit mortal sin

Not doing what we were suppose to do; depends on the circumstance if it is venial or mortal
How do we approach the question why is there evil if God is good?
Have to look at it in the light of revelation
-even through bad things He can bring out good through it; we choose evil, but He can act through it
