Left Forward Fuselage
• Probes, sensors, ports, vents, and drains (as applicable)
Nose Section
• TAT Probes clear and covers removed.
• Windshield wiper stop visible.
• Aircraft skin and radome in acceptable condition.
• Nose Cargo Door latched when not in use.
Nose Wheel Well
• Check tyres and wheels for acceptable condition.
• Shock strut inner cylinder visible (at least 1 inch of chrome exposed) and
no leakage.
• If push back not required, nose wheel steering ground pin removed.
• Runway turn off lights in acceptable condition.
• Taxi lights in acceptable condition.
• Nose gear and wheel well area free of fluid leaks and in acceptable
condition.
• Gear pins as needed. (To be removed before flight)
• Main electrical and electronic (E/E) compartment door secure
Right Forward Fuselage
• Probes, sensors, ports, vents, and drains (as applicable) uncovered and clear
• Doors and access panels (not in use) latched
• Negative pressure relief doors closed
• Oxygen bottle discharge green disc intact.
Right Wing Root, Pack, and Lower Fuselage
• Wing illumination light in acceptable condition.
• Landing light lens clean and unbroken.
• Radio antenna in acceptable condition.
• Pack inlet and pneumatic access doors secure
• Fuselage skin in acceptable condition, no evidence of fluid leaks and all panels closed and fastened.
• Fuel measuring sticks flush and secure.
• Leading edge flaps in acceptable condition.
• Ram Air Turbine Door closed.
Number 3 and 4 Engines
• Access panels latched and no evidence of excessive fluid accumulation under nacelle.
• Probes, sensors, ports, vents, and drains (as applicable) Checked
• Fan blades, probes, and spinner checked
• Thrust reversers stowed.
• Exhaust area and tail cone checked
Right Wing and Leading Edge
• Wing undersurface and leading edge flaps in acceptable condition, no evidence of fluid leaks and all panels closed and fastened.
• Fuel Measuring Sticks flush and secure
• Fuel vent outlet unobstructed.
Right Wing Tip and Trailing Edge
• Navigation light lens unbroken and lights illuminated.
• Wing Tip Rear Facing Marker light checked.
• Static dissipators in place.
• Fuel jettison nozzle unobstructed and no fuel leakage.
• Ailerons and trailing edge flaps in acceptable condition.
Right Wing and Body Gear
• Check tyres and brakes for acceptable condition and chocks in place as needed. If the parking brake is set, the brake wear indicator pins must extend out of the guides.
• Shock strut inner cylinder visible (at least 1 inch of chrome exposed), actuators and doors checked.
• Gear pins as needed. (To be removed before flight)
• Gear and wheel well area, free of fluid leaks and in acceptable condition.
• APU FIRE CONTROL handle In
Right Aft Fuselage
• Doors and access panels (not in use) latched
• Negative pressure relief door closed
• Probes, sensors, ports, vents, and drains (as applicable) checked.
• Outflow valve fully open and unobstructed.
Tail
• Navigation lights illuminated and strobe lights checked
• Vertical stabilizer and rudder in acceptable condition, no evidence of fluid leaks and panels closed and fastened.
• Static ports
• Horizontal stabilizer and elevator
• APU exhaust outlet unobstructed.
• Static discharge wicks in place.
Left Aft Fuselage
• Side Cargo door and access panels (not in use) latched.
• Probes, sensors, ports, vents, and drains (as applicable)
• Outflow valve fully open and unobstructed.
Left Body and Wing Gear
• Check tyres and brakes for acceptable condition and chocks in place as needed. If the parking brake is set, the brake wear indicator pins must extend out of the guides.
• Shock strut inner cylinder visible (at least 1 inch of chrome exposed),
actuators and doors checked.
• Gear pins as needed. (To be removed before flight)
• Gear and wheel well area, free of fluid leaks and in acceptable condition.
Left Wing Tip and Trailing Edge
• Navigation light lens unbroken and lights illuminated.
• Wing Tip Rear Facing Marker light checked.
• Static dissipators in place.
• Fuel jettison nozzle unobstructed and no fuel leakage.
• Ailerons and trailing edge flaps in acceptable condition.
Number 1 and 2 Engines
