Imposter Content

When someone pretends to be a real, trusted source (like a news outlet or person)

Fabricated Content

Completely made-up information with no basis in reality

Manipulated Content

Real information or images that have been altered to mislead

Spin (propaganda language)

Presenting information in a biased way to influence how people think

False Content

Information that is incorrect or untrue, whether intentional or not

Red Herring

A distraction that pulls attention away from the main issue

Straw Man

Misrepresenting someone’s argument to make it easier to attack

Judging something based on where it comes from, not its actual value
