what are tier tables?

flat surfaces with multiple shelves or levels to display merchandise, usually for clothing

what are racks?

rounders or greeting card types, used to display a large amount of merchandise in a relatively small space

what are wall displays?

displays along interior walls that allow customers to view from a distance and from many angles

what are open displays?

fixtures in which customers are able to see, touch, and handle merchandise, like racks or shelves

what are closed displays?

fixtures in which customers can view but not touch or handle merchandise

what are island displays?

freestanding fixtures that can be viewed from all sides

what are end displays?

fixtures installed at one end of an island or aisle that display discounted or special items and encourage impulse buys

what are platform displays?

built-up area (risers) for items that have different rack and shelf sizes, used for items of various sizes on one rack

what are counter displays?

for promotion of small, low-cost items near checkout counters

what are dump bins?

bins for bulk items or clearance products

how do you maintain displays?

by keeping them clean, stocked, organized, and updated as merchandise sells or seasons change

how do you dismantle store displays?
