Qualitative Measurement
Measurement that describes qualities or characteristics and is generally not numerical.
Quantitative Measurement
Measurement that involves numerical values and can be expressed in numbers.
Mass
A measure of the amount of matter in an object, typically expressed in grams or kilograms.
Weight
The force exerted by gravity on an object, often measured in newtons.
Density
The mass per unit volume of a substance, typically expressed in grams per cubic centimeter.
Kinetic Energy
The energy possessed by an object due to its motion, calculated using the formula KE = 1/2 mv^2.
Accuracy
The degree to which a measurement approximates the true value.
Precision
The consistency of repeated measurements, regardless of their accuracy.
