Australian National Imams Council (Sunni) Fatwa 2019 - “Abortion is permissible at any stage of the pregnancy…if the prenancy poses any exceeding danger to the mother”

Obligation example

IVF has been permissible for Sunni Muslims since the Egyptian fatwa of 1980. 

1999 Fatwa from Iran’s Shi’a Ayatollah Ali Hussiein Khamanei deliberated that third-party donation to IVF is permissible. Shi’a practice also allows ‘muta marriage’, a temporary marriage in which men can marry the third-party donation with the wife’s permission.
