Dissociative Fugue
A rare disorder characterized by inability to recall past events, often following a stressful event.
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
A behavioral disorder characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.
Pica
A disorder marked by the consumption of non-nutritive, non-food items.
Dependent Personality Disorder
A personality disorder involving a pervasive and excessive need to be taken care of, leading to submissive behavior and fear of separation.
Tourette’s Disorder
A neurological disorder characterized by involuntary tics and vocalizations.
Enuresis
A diagnosis for involuntary urination in children over the age of 5, occurring at least twice a week.
Separation Anxiety Disorder
An anxiety disorder marked by excessive fear or anxiety concerning separation from those to whom the individual is attached.
Selective Mutism
A childhood anxiety disorder characterized by persistent failure to speak in specific social situations where there is an expectation to speak.
Conduct Disorder
A range of antisocial types of behavior displayed in childhood or adolescence.
Schizophrenia
A chronic and severe mental disorder that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves.
Major Depressive Disorder
A mood disorder characterized by persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and a lack of interest in activities.
Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
A mental health condition that is triggered by a terrifying event—either experiencing it or witnessing it.
Binge Eating Disorder
An eating disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of eating large quantities of food, often quickly and to the point of discomfort.
Hoarding Disorder
A mental disorder characterized by a persistent difficulty discarding or parting with possessions, regardless of their actual value.
Body Dysmorphic Disorder
A mental health disorder in which you can't stop thinking about one or more perceived defects or flaws in your appearance.
Dissociative Amnesia
A condition in which a person is unable to recall important personal information, often following a traumatic or stressful event.
Illness Anxiety Disorder
A disorder characterized by excessive preoccupation with having a serious illness despite having little or no serious medical condition.
Sleep Terror Disorder
A sleep disorder characterized by episodes of screaming, intense fear, and flailing while still asleep.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
A mental health disorder characterized by persistent and excessive worry about various aspects of daily life.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
A mental health disorder characterized by unwanted, recurring thoughts (obsessions) and behaviors (compulsions).
Agoraphobia
An anxiety disorder involving intense fear and avoidance of places or situations that might cause a panic attack.
Schizophrenia, Paranoid Type
A subtype of schizophrenia characterized by delusions of persecution or conspiracy and auditory hallucinations.
Acute Stress Disorder (ASD)
A mental health condition arising after exposure to a traumatic event, characterized by anxiety, dissociation, and avoidance symptoms.
Malingering
The deliberate faking of an illness or disability to achieve a specific gain.
